Well, someone continues to eat ALL the pies. Turns out, as of a couple weeks ago, the Deftones are STILL recording vocals (on the road, in fact) and the album has yet to be mixed. FUCK FUCK FUCK A DUCK.

Tool, May 2nd. Any thoughts?

damn. that motherfucker's got an insatiable appetite. i can't believe that shit. whatever. i like it cause it reminds me of our process - fucked but yielding good shit.

on that note, here's the first of my long lost deftones favorites lists:

i totally tried to overanalyze this. turns out it's just fucking hard to put it any other way. there's a few other ones that blow my mind and no bad tracks. this one just slays the hardest and cleanest and the lyrics are fucking great.

i was pretty sure that white pony was my favorite album by these guys but this makes a strong fucking case now that i've heard it about 1000000 times and finally really got it down. i'll get back to this.

any thoughts on may 2nd? HELL YEAH! i just fucking realized that that's the day after i'm outta this fuckhole. so a. we're having a major motherfucking party of a time, and b. that's just fucking awesome. shit. couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in summer. it's going to be absurdly good. my member's going to harden. we'll all go off as a result of it. is that not an accurate apraisal? last thought: first we listen to it in the car after buying it loud as hell, then we listen to it one somebody's system loud as hell, then another system, then we listen to it rosetta stoned on a system. ok? at that point we'll really be warming up to it, so we'll have to listen to it on the pot as well undoubtedly.

also, correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the last track's name latin for 23, or 20 and 3 or something like that?
