PV

Has anyone heard anything about a PV football player getting caught prom night with Mary Jane and a DUI? I heard this was his 2nd drug offense in the past 2 or 3 weeks. I am not posting any names not sure if it is even true.

i have no idea, but this is not a good topic.

Heard from several people this is true.

I would really take biggin's advice and stay away from this topic. High school atheletes and drug use are "taboo" on this forum

I do agree that unless it is in the papers (and it will not be given that if an arrest is made the kid is a minor) I say we steer clear of speculation.


That being said anyone who thinks drug use is not a big problem in all of our schools is liveing under a rock IMHO we need to find a way to help these kids stay Drug free.

I think that Random Drug testing would be a great start (Not saying to throw the kids that are caught useing under the bus but try to get them some help)

Well, even a kid arrested will/could be in the papers (they just aren't able to give names).

So thusly, no names better be given or even hinted at.

Sorry I don't live up to your expected standards. This is not personal business if it is happening on streets and in the school my kids attend. I did not name anyone and had no intentions of it but I am interested in what is going on in my community and at the schools my kids attend. We do have drug problems in this county and it is in the schools, if someone is repeatedly violating the laws something should be done. If you think it is classless then don't participate in the conversation.

No one will particiapte in this convo. cuz it is classless...if you are going to speculate about particular HS students and drugs, you'll be posting to yourself.

For your info, the drug problem is all throughout SWVA and SEKY, not just in our schools...
