damn boys, regardless of what country they are in, its going to be about impossible to stop a suicide bomber with a bomb attached to themselves. As far as terrorists being in Iraq.....there are terrorists in London apparently, as well as several other nations including our own. So let's start a war in ALL of them if that is the argument for going to war.
When the idea of religious freedom came about Christianity was very prominent and you didn't have as many buddists, muslims, taoists, confusionists, etc etc as we do today. But today we do, apparently also according to the interpretations of today's laws by today's Supreme Court, private developers and say I want your house and have it, wonder if the founding fathers wanted that too.....
If things were still like they were when the founders started all this then the laws should be able to be the same, they aren't so they shouldn't IMO.

Because our military is the best equiped, best trained, and most dedicated in the world. China is probably the only country that could match up to us.
As in Korea and Viet Nam, our military is hog-tied by politicians and public opinion. I say let them do their job, then turn it over to the politicos. George 1 would have taken care of Saddam the first time, but he acquiesced to the UN's plea to let them broker for peace.
You guys seem to overlook the fact that Iraq has a government in place, and we are only there now to see that a fledging democracy has a chance to get past its infancy. We are involved now in training police and military to take over that job when we leave. No need to remove one dictator, then let another take his place.
