why dont you give a reason rather than just saying, hey your reply is stupid, it takes a real genius to do that....why dont you say, i disagree because and actually give a reason.....anyone on here can say, hey bush sucks, or bush is the greatest........i thought my post was pretty insightful given that less than 35% of the nation favors the job that bush has done in office or the fact that bryan williams on nbc the other night said that our nations forefathers could have been seen as terrorists in the eyes of the british for breaking away from the country and killing many brits....same thing can be said for those who seperated themselves from the united states during the civil war.....they werent refered to as terrorists but they brought terror and opression to black people as a result of slavery which had been declared illegal.......anyone can sit behind a computer and say someones opinions are stupid, but you could at least contribute to the conversation rather than just posting 1 sentence that means nothing either way, you should either post something about the subject or stfu.

what the U.S. did to the Amarican Native's was brutal and genocide to a point. stole their land, put then on almost unlivable reservations. made then convert to our language and religious belief's. Our forfarthers were just as brutal as any dictator villified in our history books.

I agree........its amazing how jefferson and others glorified manifest destiny ideas to make the country richer...yes they made the country richer which created alot of support for them while they were in office, yet their was really no "media" back then to show people what was really happening....You can about put Andrew Jackson and Saddam in the same sentence, though there were alot of good things that Jackson did as well.
In the eyes of the Brits, yeah, they may have looked like terrorists, and I'm sure in the eyes of some of the Afghans and Iraqi's we look pretty bad....but to call our President, the man who is doing what he, along w/ Congress, thinks is the best for this nation, a terrorist...I think is very uncalled for, especially on the eve of this holiday...
I promise, President Bush is not blatantly trying to bring this nation down. Agree w/ what he does or not, saying things like that is absolutely unnecessary....
"terrorist" is a very loose word.....i have family in the CIA that works hand in hand with him and they say that bush had planned from the first minute that he was president to invade iraq.....sorta like what someone said above "for his dad"....He invaded a country that was torn apart from the gulf war. We basically conquered Iraq in less than a month....that says alot considering they had very little weaponry due to UN sanctions against them in the first place. There were no WMD's which was the reason for invading, we spent alot of money, and there are many americans dead, and many innocent iraqi people including women and children dead, not to mention its costing a whole lot, yet he and dick chaney are the ones benefitting because haliburton is rebuilding a nation that really had no business being destroyed......he accomplished what he set out to do, but at the price of lives, he should feel the blood on his hands because there is plenty....Im not even saying that it was his decision solely, like someone said, there is a system of checks and balances yet he made a horrible decision to invade iraq, especially if we cant pull out within the next year.......To go along with that, the patriot act is very terroristic, that act cuts into every single freedom granted by the 1st amendment and treats every american as a criminal wheather they are or arent, yet he signed that bill. I could go on forever, heck i dont even agree with his proposals for bankruptcy law changes yet it would benefit myself.

Check and see how much damage has been done since "Dufuss the 2nd" declared the war over and how much was done in the 5 years before that all told. He couldn't plan a two car parade, he has tied our troops to targets, set them to routines, tied them to allies they can't trust and except for Great Britian, alienated the rest of the world. You can't get health care , but we got the cash to halfass protect (we had another trooper killed in one yesterday, on the ground)18 million dollar choppers in Iraq. Talk to the guys coming back, I hear, " Kill'em all- you don't hunt ONE hornet in a nest." Then ask'em about the rest of the story. If you think, Burr, that the ability to think enough to see a lie and poor leadership, is liberal , fine . Spending American lives and dollars wastfully are not what I'm ever gonna support. Finish whatever the goals are/were and move on. If it is another country, stop waiting- move . If Bush thinks we can support an Iraqi occupation forever , I wish he would say so and let the rest of us kinda have a say in what goes on. He is gonna combat world hunger next , but I bet he spends more of my cash than he does his own. at least some people can think with an open mind....I at one point supported Bush, never voted for him because i lived out of state at the time and didnt want to go through the trouble knowing VA is a republican lock but i honestly felt that he couldnt be as terrible as he really is....I mean really, who could possibly do a worse job?
