Ridiculous??? Its completely accurate. I doubt the first one of the slave owners were racist. But i dont see what i said that is inaccurate about our history when the fact is when everyone couldnt have slaves 9out 10 turned into Kross burning racists, and i dont believe i take it quite that far. I jsut happen to like the idea of slavery b/c unlike a lot of people i have to work my butt off constantly, and for those of u that do u know that a slave would be nice to have. I doubt u preps would think that at all, but again its my opininion.

i dont think they can say much to someone who just expresses their opinion, and hasnt been violent about it or cussed or ne thing.

as far as how that is, most slaves were not brought here, that is how they were brought up, and everyone thinks of the brutal slave owner, when i think that since they are so expensive, i doubt that many we beaten as bad as most people imagine it to be. And really were they worse off here with some shelter, and some food than they were in Africa, forraging and eating each other?? I dont think so. the way it seems to me is that they worked for room and board, but no pay. not really all that bad considering they didnt have bills ne ways.

Racism was a propaganda tool by the rich upper class white plantation owners to take the heat off of themselves because the poor whites in the South were disgruntled that they hogged all the farmable land to themselves...
So they diverted hatred into black kind of like Hitler did with Jews... i.e. unfounded racism

and did you know... the hero of the south, General Lee himself, was opposed to slavery! Of course his loyalties lay with Virginia, states rights, and all that... but definitely not slavery...

the "preps" you're speaking out about are the very people who betrayed the majority of poor southerners... and IF you're take on history is right... it's the 9/10 of those slave-holders that became "K"ross burning racists...
